US Senior Challenge: Top-ranked Zylstra rolls

Bill Zylstra of Michigan, the top enior amateur in the U.S., prevailed by 6 over Emile Vaughan

ALVATON, Kent. (June 11, 2011) -- The 23rd United States Senior Challenge Individual Tournament concluded in extremely hot and humid weather in Bowling Green Kentucky. The Club at Olde Stone hosted this prestigious senior event and some might say the golf coursewas the winner. Bill Zylstra of Michigan, the number one ranked senior amateur in the U.S., prevailed with a six shot (222) win over Emile Vaughan of Alabama. In the super-senior division, long time participant Joe Cantrell of Kentucky won with a score of 228, besting Lynn Martin of Ohio who finished at 230.
