UCLA's Cantlay continues streak at AT&T National

U.S. Open low-am Patrick Cantlay completed his 3rd straight PGA event Sunday tied for 20th

UCLA Athletics (July 3, 2011) -- UCLA sophomore Patrick Cantlay finished a whirlwind month by completing his third straight 72-hole PGA tournament Sunday at the AT&T National in Newton Square, PA at Aronimink Golf Club. Cantlay fired a final round 67 (-3) to finish four rounds at three-under par 277, tied for 20th. For the month, Cantlay was 14-under par in 12 rounds at three professional tournaments: the U.S. Open, the Travelers Championship and the AT&T National. He is currently the world's fifth-ranked amateur golfer entering next week's SCGA Championship at San Gabriel Country Club. On Sunday, Cantlay birdied four holes on the outward nine with a bogey for a three-under front side. He made a pair of bogeys and two birdies -- including one at the 72nd hole -- on the inward nine for a final round score of 67.
