LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2012) The UCLA men's golf team won the Del Walker Match Play title in Long Beach with a 3 & 2 victory over top-seeded Washington.
The UCLA winners were: junior Pontus Widegren, 5&4 over Larry Iverson, sophomore Anton Arboleda, 4&3 over Charlie Hughes and sophomore Patrick Cantlay 4&2 over Chris Williams. Senior Alex Shi Yup Kim lost 3&1 to Trevor Simsby and Cheng-Tsung Pan defeated junior Pedro Figueiredo, 2&1.
