U.S. Senior Challenge: Pool Wins by 2 Shots

Doug Pool of Las Vegas, NV, shot a one under round of 71 on the final day and a total score of even par, 216

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (June 10, 2010)--The 22nd U.S. Senior Challenge Individual Championship concluded on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ.

88 golfers played in great weather of 95 – 100 degree temps all three days. Senior champion Doug Pool of Las Vegas, NV, shot a one under round of 71 on the final day and a total score of even par, 216. Runner-up Rob Hess of Castleberry, FL, shot a final round of 71 and a total of 218. Both are first time Challenge players.

Mr. Bill McDonald of Troy, MI, won the super-senior division for the second year in a row in a 2-hole play off with Bob Fouke of Broken Arrow, OK. Both players finished with scores of 218 for three rounds.
