Torrance Tartars Take CIF Socal Girls Championship

The Torrance Tartars Won the CIF Southern California Girls Championship by two shots over the Torrey Pines Falcons. Kaitlin Park took the individual titles with 6-under-par 66.

MURRIETA, CALIF. (Nov 10, 2010) -- The Torrance Tartars won the Southern California (WSCGA/CIF) High School Girls Championship at the Golf Club of Rancho California with a team score of 12-over-par 372. The Tartars were led by Anne Cheng who fired a 3-under 69 and Chae Won Park who came in with a 72. The Falcons from Torrey Pines finished second with a team score of 374. Hee-Wook Choi led the way for the Falcons with a score of 69. Minjia Luo also provided serious help with a solid round of 72. The Aztecs from Palm Desert finished third with a team score of 378. Kaitlin Park from Beckman High in Irvine took the individual honors with a impressive 6-under-par 66.
