Tim Jackson wins Coleman Senior Invitational

After finishing tied for second last year Tim Jackson runs away with 2016 edition of the Coleman Senior Invitational

JUNO BEACH, FL (April 30, 2016) - Tim Jackson continued his years of fine play at the Seminole Golf Club on Saturday as he won the George L. Coleman Senior Invitational Golf Tournament. It was Jackson's first win as a senior and second overall after winning as a mid-amateur in 2012. With the win Jackson became the first player to win both the Coleman Invitational and the Coleman Senior Invitational. After finishing tied for second last year, Jackson won this year by an impressive five-strokes. Jackson fired rounds of 71-68-72 and finished 5-under. His 211 54-hole tally was the lowest score ever in the Senior Division. "When I finally won the mid-amateur division in 2012 it was such a relief," Tim Jackson told Global Golf Post. "I had begun to think it might never happen. I had blown so many opportunities, but I think if I play my game, I can win the senior division again." Seminole Golf Club member John Pinkham started the day tied for fourth and ended it in solo second at even-par. Tommy Brennan and Patrick Tallent were 1-over and tied for third. Brady Exber, 2-over, was fifth. -Global Golf Post contributed to this stroy
