Tim Jackson snatches second round Coleman Senior Invitational

Tim Jackson will be looking for his second win at the Seminole Golf Club and first in the Coleman Senior Invitational

JUNO BEACH, FL (April 29, 2016) - Since 2006 Tim Jackson has finished tied for sixth or better when playing at the famous Seminole Golf Club. The run began in the Coleman Invitational and for the second year in a row has continued in the George L. Coleman Senior Invitational Golf Tournament. Following a 4-under 68 in Friday's second round Jackson finds himself 5-under and leading the Coleman Senior Invitational by three-strokes. In Jackson's first spin in the senior event last year he finished tied for second, it was the fourth time in his last five Coleman appearances that he has concluded tournament play as the runner-up. The only exception came in 2012 when Jackson won the event. However, there is still work left to do for Jackson in tomorrow's final round and Tommy Brennan (-2) currently in second place is his closest competitor. Jackson and Brennan will be joined in the final group by Patrick Tallent (E), in third place. The group will begin their final loop at 11:30 a.m. EST. Three players including first round co-leader Brady Exber are tied for fourth at 3-over. Kelly Miller also had a piece of the first round lead and he is now 4-over and in seventh.
