Tighe Takes Low Amateur at DSGA State Open

Marc Surtees rallied to go 5-under par in the last seven holes

WYOMING, DE (August 3, 2010) – Marc Surtees rallied to go 5-under par in the last seven holes of the Delaware Open at Wild Quail Golf & Country Club in Wyoming Delaware today, but still fell one stroke shy to eventual low amateur PJ Tighe. Tighe played a solid three days with scores of 71-68-69—208 while Surtees recorded 71-71-67—209. The overal winner was professional Eric Onesi with scores of 68-67-69--204.
