The San Gabriel team of Russell/Yu take the 2012 Cravens Invitational

SAN GABRIEL, Calif. (May 2012) -- The team of Moses Yu and Chad Russell played solid golf on the weekend to capture the 2012 Cravens Invitational held annually at the beautiful San Gabriel Country Club. They took down the team from Rancho Sante Fe of Kenyon Clark and James Wright 5 and 3 then in the finals they defeated Jeff Botsford and Larry Tashjian of Annandale CC 4 and 3 to hoist the trophy.

The prestigious Cravens Invitational Tournament, begun in 1925, has been played at San Gabriel since 1943, attracting teams from all over the nation and earning the reputation as one of the finest amateur golf events anywhere.
