Sullivan wins Santa Barbara County

Dan Sullivan posts even par at one of the toughest public courses in Southern Cal to stay clear of the field by three

LOMPOC, Calif. (Sept 27, 2009) -- At some courses, even par isn't just a good score -- it's a REALLY good score. That's the case with Lompoc's beautiful La Purisima Golf Course, where Dan Sullivan won the Santa Barbara County with a tournament total of 144. Sullivan's Sunday round of 1-under 71 was not only the lowest of the tournament, it also allowed him to jump ahead of a crowded pack of capable players that had shot 73 in the first round, including Jeremy Moreno and motorcycle champ Jason Pridmore of Ventura County.
