PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (April 22, 2016) - Every year since 2007 Sue Cohn has won the the Palm Beach County Women's Amateur Championship and on Thursday at the PGA National Resort & Spa Fazio course that streak continued. Cohn has now won the event 10 times in a row and 13 times overall.
Cohn (+9) began the day leading by three-strokes and ended it with an 11-stroke advantage. Her 1-under 71 final round was combined with opening 36-hole scores of 75-79.
The Palm Beach Garden resident is one of the top Senior players in the country. Three years ago Cohn was the runner-up in the U.S. Senior Amateur and last year she was a semifinalist.
