Scottsdale, Ariz. (April 18, 2012) -- Jim Strickland and Joe Bendetti put together a 14-under-par performance over three rounds to win the National at Whisper Rock Invitational Mid-Am division this week. Strickland and Bendetti carded rounds of 69-63-69--201, leaving them two shots ahead of second place finishers, Corey Fist and Wayne Vickers (69-67-68--203).Alex Buecking and Partner Joe Lindstrom were third with scores of 67-71-69--207.ASU Head Coach Tim Mickelson and partner Dan Horner shared fourth place with Barry Dyche and Jason PoolIn the Senior division, Jerry Hudgins and Mike Rice put posted an impressive 11-under-par performance with rounds of 66-71-68--205. Three teams fell three strokes short and shared second place. They included Jim Knoll and partner Dan Luther who signed (67-71-70--207), Matthew Horwitch and Vic Postillion (71-68-69--207) and Darryl Donavon and Kevin Kobalter (67-73-68--207).
