AUSTIN, TX (June 17, 2016) -- AUSTIN, TX (June17, 2016) – Galven Green of Selangor, Malaysia is the first international golfer to win the title at the Southern Junior Championship at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin.
Green’s -5 round was the low of the tournament, with eight birdies, one bogey and a double bogey (71-74- 66 – 211) catapulting him ahead of his competitors, as he started the round five off the lead.
Johnny Bai of Lake Mary, Fla. won the 13-14 Division after leading at the end of the first two rounds (72-77- 78 – 227).
