PASADENA, Calif. (July 1, 2014) -- Jeff Burda shot 4-under 67 Tuesday and extended his lead at the 2014 Southern California Senior Amateur at Annandale Golf Club.
Burda followed his opening 65 with the round of the day and it all adds up to 10-under and an eight-shot lead entering Wednesday's final round.
Jim Knoll is the nearest competitor after rounds of 67-73 but what seemed Monday like it might become a battle of two of the state's top senior stars has become a one-man show as Burda raced out to a dominant lead.
Doug Williams is third at 2-over while Michael Turner, Iain MacDonald and Stephen Rhorer are tied for fourth place.
