SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (March 1, 2014) -- Casie Cathrea continued her journey to a second straight San Francisco City Women's Championship with a win on Saturday at Presidio Golf Course.
Cathrea, the 2013 champion who recently left Oklahoma State to focus on her game full time, beat No. 16 Kathleen Scalvo and will now face Mabel Wong on Sunday. Wong was an easy 7-and-6 victor over Belinda Hu Saturday.
No. 2 seed Anna Zhou and No. 3 Angela Liu also moved on and will play for a spot in next weekend's semifinals on Sunday.
