Semifinals are set at Wisconsin Match Play

Defending champion Josh Udelhofen has to win two more matches to defend at the Wisconsin Match Play.

SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WIS. (June 17, 2015) – Only four players remain at the Wisconsin Match Play hosted by The Bull at Pinehurst Farms. The number 2 overall seed Peter Webb is the highest remaining seed left in the tournament. Webb defeated Dane Zachman in the quarterfinal match after 3 straight birdies on holes 8 though 10 led him to a 4 and 3 win. The rising junior at Valparaiso University will face Nick Nelson of Milwaukee, Wis. who recently medaled at US Open Local Qualifying in Cedarburg, Wis. The other semifinal match is between the #8 seed Josh Udelhofen of Platteville, Wis. and the #20 seed Ethan Schmitz of Sparta, Wis. Schmitz will have his hands full as Udelhofen is the defending champion of this event will know exactly what to expect when the semifinal matches begin Thursday morning. The championship match will take place following the semifinals, Thursday afternoon.
