SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (May 19, 2014) -- Justin Warthen shot rounds of 68-70 to win by a dominant 10 shots at the 2014 San Luis Obispo County Amateur Championship at Dairy Creek Golf Course.
Warthen held a three-shot lead after ROund 1 but kept the foot on the gas in Round 2.
Triston Ioppini (75-73) and Grady Smith (74-74) finished tied for second -- a distant 10 shots back of Warthen's impressive pace.
Warthen, who came in ninth at the Southern California Mid-Amateur last month, also won the San Luis Obispo County title in 2011.
