San Francisco City Women: Iqbal and Palavivatana meet in Championship Match

High School sophomore Sabrina Iqbal will take on Sacramento State graduate Sagee Palavivatana in the 36-hole championship match

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Sabrina Iqbal will face off against Sagee Palavivatana in the San Francisco Women's City Championship final. Iqbal, the number one overall seed, advanced via default against Ty Akabane. Iqbal is a former California High School Girls Champion and sophomore at Pioneer High School. Sagee Palavivatana advanced to the finals through a 4&3 victory over Belinda Hu. Palavivatana is a recent Sacramento State graduate where she competed all four years. The championship match begins at 7:40am local time and will be played over 36-holes at TPC Harding Park.
