San Antonio Amateur: Wall wins his second

J.J. Wall overcomes high temperatures, swirling winds and slick greens to win the Greater San Antonio Amateur

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (June 19, 2011) -- Texas Standout J.J. Wall was the winner of the Greater San Antonio Amateur played at the Republic Golf Club. Wall's final round 68 and two day total 139 on the 7000 yard layout was just good enough to overtake first round leader Thomas Immenschuh who shot 66 on Saturday. Wall's round included four birdies, an eagle at number five and three bogeys. Although Immenscchuh had three birdies in today's round he struggled with four bogeys and a double to end up with a 74, one back of Wall. Wall who first won the event in 2001 has been in the top five the last three years.
