Ryan Miranda wins Glendale City Championship

The Glendale City Championship moved over to Oakmont Country Club for Sunday's final round, and Ryan Miranda posted 72 to win by three

GLENDALE, Calif. — Ryan Mirada secured a three-shot win at the Glendale City Championship on Sunday, posting a final-round 72 at Oakmont Country Club — site of this year's SCGA Amateur Championship. While the opening round of the tournament was played at Scholl Canyon, a par-60 course, on Thursday, Sunday hosted the concluding round at the multiple-time host of SCGA major championships. Miranda carded even-par 60 on Thursday, trailing first-round leaders Win Kyaw and Willy Moffly by two. But Miranda's one-over 72 at Oakmont on Sunday was the lowest score by four shots. Miranda was runner-up last year to Vinny De Pinto. This year, he wrapped up a three-shot win over Fidel Rodriguez, who finished in second place by three over Tavit Garabedian.
