VENTURA, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2012) -- Johnny Ruiz blew past the competition, carding a 68-67-62--197 to take home the top honors at the 2012 Ventura County Golf Championships at Buenaventura Golf Course.
Ruiz lapped the field, winning by eight shots over runner-up Alex Romo (70-71-74--64).
Zack Kenny of Ventura was third at 70-69-67--206.
