SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 1, 2013) — Casie Cathrea was the three-time defending champion at the Sacramento City Women's Championship.
Cyna Rodriguez of Manila, The Philippines took advantage of that absense as Cathrea was busy placing in a tie for 25th in the U.S. Women's Open. Rodriguez fired 69-70 to force her way into a playoff with first-round leader Alexandra Wong.
It only took one playoff hole before Rodriguez was crowned champion.

With Casie Cathrea absent from the Sacramento City Women's Championship, Cyna Rodriguez took advantage and claimed the title.
