HEWLETT, NY (May 5, 2013) -- Russ Aue defeated top-seeded Hal Berman 2-up in the championship match to win the 2013 Richardson Invitational at the 6,767-yard Sewanee Golf Club.
Aue earned the No. 3 seed after stroke-play qualifying and the Bethpage State Park player rolled through the 16-man bracket with wins over Pat Wilson of Pine Valley, Phillip Gutterman and Berman.
Berman, playing out of Woodmere Club, defeated Mchael Schewnk and Peter Hartong before falling in the finale.
