PAWTUCKET, R.I. (Sept. 3, 2013) -- Gary Palmer and George Pirie shot first-round 67s to share the lead after the first round at the 55th annual Rhode Island Senior Championship at Pawtucket Country Club.
Dave McNally is third with a 1-under 68 while Gary McLane and Mike Schmidt are tied for fourth after shooting opening-round 70s.
