SANDIA PARK, N.M. (July 31, 2015) – The quarterfinals are set at the Sun Country Match Play Championship hosted by Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club in Sandia Park, N.M.
Notable players to advance to the quarters are the #1 seed Casey Harty and the defending champion Greg Condon. Hartly shot a 71 in the qualifying portion to earn the top seed and won his round of 16 match 3-and-2 against Riley Rahm.
Condon shot a 72 in the qualifying round to earn the #2 match play seed and make quick work of his round of 16 opponent with a 7-and-6 victory. It would be no surprise if Condon and Hartly were to meet in the finals come Saturday.
