Quarterfinals set at NCAA Women's Championship

The quarterfinals at the NCAA Women's Championship are going off under grey skies at Blessings Golf Club.

In tornado alley, the first round of match play at the NCAA Women’s Championship is going off under grey skies with fingers crossed for a quick finish. After a nearly hour-long weather delay in Monday’s third and final round of stroke play, a handful of players had to come back on Tuesday morning and finish just to set the match-play bracket.

Three matches remain to crown a champion, and with a dicey Tuesday forecast looming.

Auburn played its final three holes on Tuesday in 1 over par to take the eighth and final spot. Texas, Duke and USC maintained their spots as the Nos. 1, 2 and 3. Coaches set their lineups soon after, and matches started at 8 a.m. CT.
