PLAYOFF: Brown wins W. Penn. Amateur

David Brown comes through on second playoff hole to win the Western Pennsylvania Amateur.

BUTLER, Pa (July 2, 2013) - It took two playoff holes to do it, but David Brown succeeded, winning the Western Pennsylvania Amateur for the second time. His final-round 70 was good enough to place him ahead of everybody else in the field, except Bo Lustig, whose 67 forced his way into a sudden death playoff. Brown was the first-round leader with a 67 but dropped back into a tie for second after a one-over par 72 on Monday. Monday night's leader Josh Stauffer shot 75 on Tuesday, falling back into a tie for fourth.
