Pasadena City: Sarnoff rallies back for win

Jake Sarnoff rallied in the final round, posting a 1-under 71 to win the Pasadena City Championship

PASADENA, Calif. (May 15, 2011) -- Jake Sarnoff, a junior at Loyola Marymont rallied in Sunday's final round, posting a 1-under 71 to win the Pasadena City Championship. Leader after the first round, Sarnoff, who recently made All Conference Team in the WCC, sat two shots behind leader Dan Sullivan heading into the final round. Sarnoff's 71 was eight shots better than Sullivan's 79. Sullivan finished the tournament alone in second place with a four-day total of 288. Sam Yi finished third after posting a 73 in Sunday's final round. Yi was one shot better than Brent Brockermeyer, who was fourth with a four-day score of 290.
