Palm Beach Open: Peyton secures low amateur

Derron Peyton was low amateur with rounds of 73-70--143 and finished tied for 6th overall

Paul Scaletta shot a final round 4 under par 68 and a two day total of 136 to win this year's Palm Beach Open Championship at Bear Lakes CC - Links. One shot back at 137 (68-69) was first round co leader Alan Morin. Brett McCurdy finished third at 71-70--141 and tied for fourth were Richard Terga 73-69--142 and Michael Berger 73-69--142. Derron Peyton was low amateur with rounds of 73-70--143 and finished tied for 6th overall. Pete Williams aced the 216 yard par 3 #13 with a 3 iron in the first round.
