PALM CITY, Fla. (April 30, 2011) -- Gil Turner and Scott Rossa won this year's Senior Better Ball Championship at The Fox Club in a playoff over Van Lefferdink & Jim Deveney.
Turner made birdie on the third playoff hole for the victory. They teamed up for rounds of 68-68--136 and Lefferdink and Deveney shot 70-66--136.
Larry Mueller and Pat Vincelli finished third with rounds of 68-69--137.
Don Edwards and Paul Quigley won the Super Senior Division with rounds of 61-68--129. Vic Gerard and Terry Louis finished second at 75-71--146.
Richard McCarthy and Mike Burke won the Net Division with rounds of 64-68--132 (gross score of 67-71--138) and Aldo Butera and John Harrigan won the Super Senior Net Division with rounds of 67-65--132 (gross score 76-75--151).
