Pac-12 Women's: Oregon/UCLA share lead with one round to play

BOULDER, Colo. (April 22, 2015) – The No. 28 Oregon women’s golf team continued to show that rankings are just a number Tuesday afternoon at the Pac-12 Championships and continued to hold a share of the lead over the 11-team field playing Boulder Country Club. After a 5-over 289, the Ducks are now tied in first place with No. 3 UCLA who finished the day with a 2-over 286. Cassy Isagawa (Wailuku, Hawai'i) carried the torch with a 1-under 70 on Tuesday, while the Ducks’ other three counting scores were close to even par. Bronte Law of UCLA is the leading individual player, at 5-under 137. The No. 1 USC women’s golf team is tied for fifth at a combined 17-over 585 (293-292), 12 back of the co-leaders. Arizona is third at 6-over 574, Washington is fourth at 8-over 576 and host Colorado is tied with USC. Oregon State and Stanford are tied for seventh at 21-over 589, Arizona State is ninth at 26-over 594, California is 10th at 28-over 596 and Washington State is 11th at 36-over 604. In tomorrow’s final round Oregon will be contending for what would be their first Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championship in school history.
