Ben Geyer of Arbuckle fired 67 at Bayonet on Saturday to grab the lead at the NCGA Stroke Play

SEASIDE, Calif. (July 13, 2014) -- Ben Geyer of Arbuckle fired 67 at Bayonet on Saturday to give him a 3 shot lead over Amay Poria in the NCGA Stroke Play Championship. Geyer's round included an opening eagle on the par-5 first hole, four birdies, and only a single bogey on the long par 5 eighth. Poria had six birdies on the day but had a stretch of four holes (13-16) where he made four bogeys. With several players still on the course the projected cut is 6-over 150.
