VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, N.C. (July 9, 2014) -- Josh Martin seized the lead after Round 2 at the North & South Junior Wednesday and will enter the final round up by one on the field.
Martin's 2-under 70 followed a 72 in the first round and he slipped past first-round leader David Kocher.
Kocher shot 74 after his opening-round 69 and is alone in second place entering Thursday's final round at Pinehurst No. 8.
Jacob Bayer, Nick Stafford and D.J. Vogt are all tied for third place at even par following Round 2.
