After an opening round 11-under par 60, Ryan Maloney laps the field at the Northern Arizona Amateur by a whopping 12 strokes

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (Oct 9, 2011) -- Ryan Maloney of Chandler annihilated the field by a monstrous 12 strokes at the Northern Arizona Amateur. His opening round 60 lead by three going into today's round and he finished with a 65, the low round of the day for a total of 125, 17-under par. Chris Bragg of Prescott Valley who started the day three behind Maloney and Rusty Brown of Phoenix tied for second at 137, 5-under par. There was a tie for third between Takuya Fuji of Tucson and Chris Niemiec of Green Mountain Falls at 4-under par, 138.
