Nick Geyer wins by three at Carlsbad City

With back to back rounds of 71, Nick Geyer claimed a three-stroke victory at The Crossings at Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, Calif. — The 2015 Carlsbad City Amateur Championship crown went to Nick Geyer on Sunday, with back-to-back 71s giving him a three-stroke victory over Chase Furey. Furey posted 71 on Sunday, as well, rebounding from 74 on day one at The Crossings at Carlsbad to jump into the runner-up spot. Clay Feagler also carded 74 on Saturday, then improved to a 72 in the final round to take third place alongside Marcus Mercado-Kiel (73-73).
