Mark Miller and Gary Vanier shot a final-round 71 at Silverado Resort and hung on to win

NAPA, Calif. (May 24, 2013) -- Mark Miller and Gary Vanier shot a final-round 71 at Silverado Resort and hung on to win the 2013 Northern California Senior Four-Ball Championship. The pair, which led from Round 1, entered the final round with a four-shot advantage. Dennis Younglove and Gary Ramsden gave a charge, closing with a final-round 68, but couldn't complete the comeback. The runners up finished two shots back of Miller and Vanier. Jim Knoll and Jeff Burda took third place thanks to rounds of 67-67-68. The teams of Herb Jensen and Michael Harding and Robert Fulton and Dan Bieber tied for fourth place.
