VENTURA, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2013) — First-round leader Stephan Moffatt, who shot 66 on Saturday, found himself in a two-man playoff on Labor Day with Brandon Gama.
Moffatt came out victorious, winning the playoff to capture the 2013 Ventura County Men's Championship.
Moffatt shot rounds of 66-71-68 while Gama made a charge on both Sunday and Monday, shooting 66 both days after firing a 73 on Saturday.
Gama, who grew up in Santa Barbara and attended Chico State University, missed a par putt on the first playoff hole.
Moffatt recently graduated from Royal High School in Simi Valley.
