HOUSTON, Tex. (Oct. 12, 2013) -- Mike Booker of The Woodlands shot 2-under-par 70 to maintain a 4-shot lead through two rounds of the Greater Houston Senior Men's City Amateur at Memorial Park Golf Course.
Booker, 2012 runner-up, is at 8-under-par 136. Steve Moran of Houston shot 68 and is at 140. Bob Kearney is a shot back after a 69, the day's low round. Three players — defending champion Gary Durbin, Hill Adams and David Leiss — are at 143. In the Super Senior Division Don Fanning shot 70 for 141 and a 2-shot lead in 65-and-over competition.
Play was suspended at 2:03 PM and resumed at 4:30 PM. Sunday's final-round tee times begin at 7:30 AM.
