LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Sept 10, 2013) -- Matthew Minder fired a 70 on Tuesday to win the championship flight at the 2013 Chicago District Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship.
Minder's 35-35--70 was a shot better than Brad Belcaster, who took sole position of runner up.
Joe Cernak was third while Brad Kay finished fourth, three back of Minder.
Defending champion Charlie Waddell withdrew from the event.
