Mark Boulton defends title at New Zealand Mid-Amateur

For the second year in a row, Australian golfer Mark Boulton flew over to New Zealand to capture the country's Mid-Amateur title

TAUPO, New Zealand (Nov. 12, 2014) — Mark Boulton is the 2014 New Zealand Mid-Amateur champion — and for the second year in a row. Boulton, a native of Australia, led by two after the first round with a 70, then by five after 72 in the second round before only needing 76 in Wednesday's final round to close out a five-shot win to defend his title. Two players tied for second place at 223, including Thai Leng and Nick Ming.
