GLENHEAD, N.Y. (July 6, 2011) -- Clancy Waugh of Deepdale GC shot a four-under-par 68 to lead 30 other qualifiers into match play on Tuesday, July 5th, the first day of the 2011 Long Island Amateur Championship, at the Tam O’Shanter Club in Brookville.
The cut was 75. Defending Champion Hunter Semels of North Hempstead CC will join the 31 qualifiers in match play beginning Wednesday morning. Spectators are welcome.
