BURBANK, Calif. (April 26, 2014) -- Dan Sullivan shot a Saturday 75 at Lakeside Golf Club and leads all players entering Sunday's final round.
The unique format of the Kelly Cup, which goes to honor Roger Kelly, one of California's most decorated amateurs and a longtime member of the club, allows players from any and all flights to advance into the championship round.
Of all the players to advance, Sullivan, who's seeking his first Kelly Cup title, was able to brave the U.S. Open-style conditions the most.
Ed Cuff and Tim Hogarth are a shot behind Sullivan and could certainly make things interesting. Both golfers have won multiple Kelly Cup titles.
Kyle George and David Lebowitz both sit tied for fourth place -- four back of Sullivan.
First-round leader David Ober struggled to a second-round 87 but still made the cut. He'll hope to bounce back and return to the form that carded him a 69 in Round during Sunday's finale.
Lakeside Golf Club, of course, remains one of the traditionally fun clubs which Hollywood celebrities like Justin Timberlake, George Lopez, and Joe Pesci call home.
