PRIMM, Nev. (Feb. 22, 2014) -- Recent Henderson Open winner Joe Sawaia fired a 3-under 69 at Primm Valley Golf Club's Desert Course and takes a two-shot lead into the final round of play at the 2014 Primm Amateur.
Sawaia holds his advantage over Brady Exber and Kevin Tone, who both managed 1-under 71s in Round 1 on Saturday.
Brandon Bauman, David Tottori, JR. and Erik Matthewson all finished the opening round tied for fourth place.
