OJAI, Calif. (April 23, 2012) -- Jeff Coburn (69-71--140) cruised to victory at the 2012 Ojai City Championship at Soule Park Golf Club this past weekend.
Coburn opened up with a first-round 69, sharing the lead with Mark Modglin after the first 18. He fired a second-round 69, withstanding a surge from runner-up Gabriel Armendariz (74-69--143), who rallied with a 69 in Sunday's final round before falling three shots short of Coburn.
Ed Suzolik (74-70--144) and J.J. Holen (72-72--144) finished tied for third place, followed by Modglin, who followed up his first-round 69 with a 77.
