JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 18, 2013) -- Jamey Salmon fired a first-round 4-under 68 to take the first round lead at the 2013 Jacksonville Area Amateur Championship at The Deerwood Country Club.
Salmon's 4-under is three shots better than a trio tied for second place that includes A.J. Crouch of the Florida Gators.
Notable Jacksonville amateur Roman Cenzial is tied for 7th place at 1-over.
