PALM CITY, Fla (Feb. 16, 2012) -- After the opening round of the 56th International Four Ball the teams of Brett Williams and Nick Biesecher find themselves tied with Mike Schmidt and Gary Nicklaus with a 6-under par 65 in the Mid-Am division.
Three teams are tied for third at 5-under-par 66; Keith Decker/Chris Reeves, Michael Mercier/John Kircher and Marty Rifkin/Pete Williams.
In the senior division last year's British Senior Amateur champion, Chip Lutz and Chris Lange lead at 64 while Pat Tallent and Rick Woulfe are at 65. The trio of Marty West/Bill Boles, Jim Smith/Fred Silver and Chris Kelos/Carl Nanni are tied for third at 65.
Paul Quigley and Gary Burkhead lead the legends division by five strokes with an 8-under par 64. Mark Mulvoy and Tom Slater are in second with a 69.
Play continues with the final round on Sunday.
