Mark Inman and Jim Anthony share the lead after one round of play after firing dueling 70's

COLUMBUS, Ind. (Aug. 22, 2011) -- With rounds of 35-35=70 at Harrison Lake, Mark Inman of Zionsville and Jim Anthony of Franklin lead the IGA Senior Amateur Championship by one shot over five players. Anthony was the 2003 senior champion, but Inman is vying for his first title. Of the five players tied for third at 71, Terry Werner of Dyer is also a former champion – 2009. Randy Nichols of Brookville is tied for third as well, but, despite having three IGA Senior Player of the Year honors to his name, is still looking for his first Senior Am victory. This is the first year the IGA has instituted the Super Senior Amateur Championship to coincide with the senior event but from a different set of tees. Jerry Nelson of Warsaw leads the Super Senior competition after firing 35-37=72. Nelson was the 2000 IGA Senior Am champion.
