Hardin, McMichael lead by two at Georgia Senior Four-Ball

Leading the defending champions by two are Phil Hardin and Gay McMichael after a round of 63 on Wednesday at Wilmington Island Club

SAVANNAH, Ga. (Nov. 12, 2014) — Phil Hardin and Gay McMichael, both of Macon, posted an 8-under-par 63 in round one to lead the Georgia Senior Four-Ball Championship. The 23rd annual competition is taking place at both Wilmington Island Club in Savannah and Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, November 12-14. The defending champions, Chris Hall of Mableton and Jack Hall of Sea Island, combined for a 6-under-par 65 and sit two strokes behind the leaders. The duo from Augusta, John Gibbs III and Ralph Ireland III, turned in a 5-under-par 66, good for third. Two teams share fourth place after the first 18 holes at 4-under-par 67 - Jack Kearney and John Landis, both of Peachtree City, and Greg Scurlock and Charlie Wall, both of Augusta. Wilmington Island Club, site of the Championship flight, is playing 6,407 yards and par 71.
