RENO, NV. (Aug. 20, 2010) -- Coronado, Calif. resident Steve Hakes held off Dick Wenzel by a stroke to win the Nevada State Senior Championship at Hidden Valley CC.
Hakes fired rounds of 70-73-71--214 in route to the victory. Second place finisher Dick Wenzel had rounds of 70-75-70--215.
Frank Acker took solo third with rounds of 71-73-72--216.
