BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 20, 2014) -- First-round leader Alex Green fell and Jake Tucker took advantage during Round 2 of the 2014 Greystone Invitational.
Playing the Founder's Course at Greystone Golf & Country Club, Tucker, who plays golf at Troy University, fired a second-round 70 to move to 6-under for the event and will head into Saturday's third round with a one-shot advantage over John Michael O'Toole.
Green, who carded a red-hot 66 in Thursday's opening round of play, stumbled to a 78 and fell to a tie for 12th place.
Defending champion Tyler Hitchner shot 69 in Round 2 and leads a group of four players, which includes Robby Prater of the NCAA Champion Alabama Crimson Tide, at 3-under and three shots back.
